2Service Description

Chessie is a chess board scanner and analyzer. Users upload or take photos of chess boards to analyze games and review move recommendations powered by Stockfish.

The Service works offline and helps users study matches, improve decision making, and increase chess performance.

3Account Requirements

  • You must provide accurate account and payment information.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.
  • You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction to purchase the Service.

4Payments and Billing

Chessie is sold through a one-time payment model. After purchase, users receive access to the features included at the time of purchase.

  • There are no recurring subscription charges.
  • All purchases are final unless required otherwise by applicable law.
  • You are responsible for applicable taxes, fees, or currency conversion charges.

5Acceptable Use

  • Do not misuse the Service, interfere with platform operations, or attempt unauthorized access.
  • Do not upload unlawful, abusive, or harmful content.
  • Do not use Chessie to cheat in online chess matches or violate tournament rules.

6Disclaimer

Chessie is made to help people learn not cheat. Chessie is not responsible for any cheating online chess games. We built this tool to help people improve understanding of chess and increase their performance.

7Data and Privacy

Our data practices are described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to collection and use of information as described there, including processing uploaded chess board images to generate move analysis.

8Intellectual Property

The Service, including branding, analysis systems, and software, is owned by Chessie. You retain ownership of the images and chess data you upload, and grant us only the limited rights needed to operate the Service.

9Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose risk to users, systems, or service integrity.

10Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chessie is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
